A project schedule is a mandatory tool to achieve control of time, cost and quality. The
schedule helps management in having a clear vision for the project tasks and required
resources to execute those tasks.

Offshore construction projects are highly vulnerable to weather than other types of
construction because of constant exposure to environment.

This study is intended to assist various parties involved in offshore
construction in better understanding and allocating risk of weather related delays in their
construction contracts before they occur.
